School-age facility open for business

Six-year-old Emily Desantis, five-year-old Nisa McKenzie and six-year-old Jaimee Meador play with the classroom's pet rabbit, Thumper. The City of San Angelo treated Team Goodfellow to the third annual “Goodfellow Appreciation Picnic” on Armed Forces Day, May 17. In addition to a hearty barbecue meal, activities such as rock climbing and pony rides were available for the many families who attended. All told, more than 2,000 people attended the picnic.
