GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Susan Solomon is one of the 18 women featured in the National Women’s History Project. Solomon represents the 2013 Women’s History Month theme of “Women Inspiring Innovation Through Imagination: Celebrating Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics” because she was the first person to propose chlorofluorocarbons are the cause of the Antarctic ozone hole.
