Community leader speaks at Women's History Month breakfast here
GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas—JoAnne Powell, the San Angelo Regional Director for Congressman Mike Conaway and wife of retired Col. Charles Powell, a former 17th Training Wing commander, speaks to an attentive audience at an annual breakfast held in honor of Women’s History Month, March 31, at the Event Center. According to the Standard Times, Mrs. Powell was recently recognized by the Girl Scouts of San Angelo as one of the community’s Women of Distinction because of her commitment to community service.
