SAN ANGELO, Texas -- Goodfellow leadership and guests traveled to the San Angelo Police Department firing range Feb. 15 to retire their M203 grenade launchers, making way for the M320. Goodfellow has several agreements with San Angelo, one which allows Goodfellow members to use the larger San Angelo Police Department firing range when training with higher caliber rounds.
After receiving a safety brief from the 17th Security Forces Squadron combat arms team, individuals were invited to try both the M203 and M320 to see firsthand the differences. Several rounds were available to use, including pellet rounds, sponge rounds and other non-lethal rounds.
