NEWS RELEASE - Goodfellow dependent announced as first positive COVID-19 case

A Goodfellow Air Force Base military dependent tested positive for COVID-19. Goodfellow notified public health authorities of the positive test and are taking prudent measures to ensure the dependent is receiving the appropriate care. The individual contracted the virus through community spread.

Beginning at 8 p.m., March 27, Goodfellow AFB will initiate Tier 2 base access further increasing limitations for installation access. The base has been in Health Protection Condition (HPCON) Charlie since March 26.
