Goodfellow Air Force Base is home to the 17th Training Wing, which includes four groups, fifteen squadrons, more than a dozen specialized staff agencies, more than a half dozen separate tenant units, including an Army battalion, Navy and Marine Corps training detachments. At Goodfellow, Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Coast Guardsmen and Guardians form an agile joint training environment to produce the best-trained service members in the world.
The wing also maintains a group and units geographically separated from Goodfellow. These are located at: DLI, Washington, D.C., Naval Air Station Pensacola Corry Station, Fla., Fort Huachuca, Ariz., and the Presidio of Monterey, Calif. |
