Goodfellow Air Force Base is home to the 17th Training Wing, which includes four Groups, fifteen squadrons, nearly a dozen specialized staff agencies, more than a half dozen separate tenant units, as well as an Army battalion, Navy and Marine Corps training detachments. At Goodfellow, Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines form an agile joint training environment to produce the best-trained servicemembers in the world.
The wing also maintains a group and units geographically separated from Goodfellow. These are located at: Corry Naval Air Station, Florida, Fort Huachuca, Arizona and the Presidio of Monterey, California.
